This year, we were privileged to enjoy a visit from the man himself: Dave Nellans.   Yes, the raconteur with the nerves of steel was on hand to give a personal demonstration of the high-zoot long-travel off-road suspension capabilities of his Toyota Tacoma TRD.  As it turns out, it doesn't matter how good your suspension is if all the wheels are off the ground.  Evel Knievel would have been proud.

Dave's able assistants Caitlin and Mike were duly impressed at the effectiveness of their Toyota Racing Development seatbelts.  As it turned out, the worst thing that happened to anyone was getting the sand and bits of safety glass out of their hair. 

And that was truly a good thing, or Dave would have had to explain things to Mr. Remington.
